Checkers(American English) or Draughts(British) is a strategy board game for two players! Classical English and American variants are played on 8x8 grid. One player has light pieces, the other has the dark pieces.
Rules and How to play
Players make turns in order. Player may move only his piece. Player moves his piece diagonally to any adjacent non-occupied square. If the adjacent square has an opponent's piece, and the next square beyond it is free, the piece can be captured(and removed from the board) by jumping over it. Capturing is mandatory, you can't just jump over piece and leave it on the board. Game is played only on the dark squares of the board.
Player without remaining pieces on the board, or who can't make a move due to being blocked, loses the game.
